| About Kris Brooks | My Name is Kris Brooks and I'm a self taught guitarist. I've been playing the guitar, singing and writing songs since the age of 15. I have been in several bands as the lead singer and guitarist and I am now venturing in to a Solo career! I have also done a workshop with BBC RADIO 2 called 'Sold on song' held in Norwich City some years back. I also attended 'Access to Music', a cousre dedicated to songwriting, playing instruments, technical teaching and live work. My big influences are Pink Floyd and the mighty David Gilmour, Noel Gallagher and earlier Oasis. I really like Ian Brown, okay, his not that great a singer live but his albums and song writing are awesome. I have finally recorded my first proper album called 'Stolen my mind' and very excited about selling it online! You can also visit my own website at www.krisbrooks.co.uk |
