| About ActionMusica | I play the Piano Accordion and Diatonic Accordion. Also transcribe folk tunes into music notation - sheet music - especially the Portuguese folklore tunes including FADO. I Also like doing all other types of folklore from other cultures. The songs are composed or transcribed from audio by hand or using a Midi program. In some instances, the midi sound is enhanced and an audio file is created. My work has mostly to do with the preservation of the portuguese folklore music in a more tangible documented form such as sheet music other than on just a CD or a digital file. Along the way, I enjoy composing and playing all types of folk tunes. |
