About PALLADIUM Electric Band

PALLADIUM Electric Band is a music project whose history began in 2008.
The word «palladium» has several meanings: a sacred amulet that saved the city of Troy, a chemical element in the periodic table, and a precious metal. The first composition PALLADIUM ever performed was an arrangement from K. Jenkins, «Palladio», and thus was born the name of the trio, enabling a good start for the group´s creative work.

Since then the band has taken part in numerous music festivals, TV / Radio shows, prestigious events, participated in a charity program featuring world renowned stars, performed on the concert stages throughout Europe, the CIS, and in the Middle East.

The debut album «Energy» was released in March 2011 under the «Vigma» label. The album consists of arrangements and remixes of well-known classical works such as A. Schnittke - Rondo from Concerto grosso № 2, T. Albinoni - Adagio, N. Paganini - Caprice # 24, A. Vivaldi - Storm, and others, all arranged by George Vysotsky and Oleg Paulya.

The year 2011 was very fruitful for the three musicians. In December 2011 the second album, «TABOO», was released, and shows a completely new attitude towards instrumental music. «TABOO» consists of 12 instrumental tracks written specifically for PALLADIUM Electric Band and is the result of a wonderful cooperation with the Estonian recording studio Sonicmedia (composers - Timo Vendt, Mihkel Mattisen).

In this album you will hear both Irish and Arab motifs, fiery rhythms and lyrical melodies. It is also worth pointing out that the track «Dudu» became the trademark song for the multilingual social network Godudu.com.
