RzR is an independent band based out of Vancouver, comprised of two members, Ray Roper - vocals, guitar, bass, keys and Jo Ziccardo - drums. Ray's most noted background was with STONEBOLT, with which he recorded 5 albums garnering a top 30 hit with "I Will Still Love You" and a grammy nomination. Jo's background was with PEGASUS and managing rock night clubs, most notably, "The Embassy" in Vancouver. Their new project has produced a new CD entitled "THUNDER IN A BOTTLE", a collection of gritty rock/pop songs with multiple A-list guest musicians. Influences are decidedly retro among the likes of Pink Floyd, Springsteen, Styx and Foreigner but the power ballads are definately Roperesque. Breathing new life into a retro sound and bringing "punchy" back into the rock and roll vocabulary, RzR is back for the ride.
