| About nubmusic | NEW URBAN MUSIC, London. music and performing in UK, ska, reggae, jazz, hip hop, house and which are all influences in are music. sound engineering at Opez Studios in Hackney, London where the studio liked what we was doing and wonted to hear more. A respected producer, produced the like of MJ Blige and Seal and he really encouraged and mentored and taught me a lot. He also sold me my first home studio equipment and I started producing music at home using a keyboard, PC, SM58 mike and Cubase SX in 2000. That’s when I really got into composing and producing my own music and started creating my own unique sound. I went on to teach sound engineering and work with many musicians and artists from around London and all over the world; these collaborations added depth and variety to my music and gave me knowledge of working with many different genres and instruments, all of which I bring to my music today. I want my music to bring fun and enjoyment to people, I tell stories through the music and in the lyrics and I want people to enjoy the stories too, I want to reach and resonate with open minded people who embrace new music and new ways of doing things. That’s why I started a collective called Nubmusic, to bring together new music from urban areas and get the music out there. Nubmusic showcases new urban artists and musicians across many genres, manages and puts on events. We want to build a strong network of artists worldwide and promote new music. |
