| About Stan B. | Stanley R. Brown, Jr., known as Stan B., was born on October 27, 1984. He is the youngest of three children by his father, but yet his mothers’ only child. As a toddler he would use empty buckets, pots, and pans as percussion instruments. Let’s just say music has always been a force in his life. Growing up watching his father perform gave him the “want to do” when it came down to a career. At the age of (9) he began playing the drums for Alpha and Omega First Baptist Church where he learned how to coach someone vocally. He learned about harmonies and how to combine the parts together in order to form a beautiful vocal sound. While still playing the drums he interested himself in playing the keyboard. So at the age of (16) he purchased his first keyboard using a midi recorder to create tracks. Every musical instrument part he used he had to record in real-time which showed that he had developed the ability to compose music. As he grew more into the craft he became what some may call a “genius”. Being that he has never had a piano lesson and he plays very much by ear says that he really has a gift. Over the past few years he has really honed his talents and molded himself into a professional. He is currently writing and producing for the independent recording label, in which he is also an Executive, Kathouze Records, LLC which will be specializing in all genres of music. |
