About Aleyfex

Aleyfex was born and raised in Tanzania, Africa. Like every kid in Africa, soccer was big part of his life but he always found time for music. He enjoyed dancing and singing at other kid’s birthday parties. One memorable weekend there was a street party in the neighborhood. Aleyfex was not allowed in because he was only ten, but the adults made an exception on the condition that he grab the mic. Of course, the answer was yes and the party was set to the tune of “Oya Msela”, the hottest track of the year, and he nailed it! It was then that he knew music would play an important role in his life.

Many times in the past people have urged him to choose between rapping and singing. Aleyfex has always believed that some messages are conveyed better with singing and some better with rap, he enjoys both and will continue to incorporate both in his music to create original pieces.

There are many messages in Aleyfex’s music including love, good times, and most of all the politics of his motherland. In his song “God Left Africa”you hear of a call to action for all who listen to do there part in stopping the blood diamond trade, a practice that ruins the lives of many African Children.
