About Kerry Narew

Kerry Narew is a singer, a songwriter, a recording artist and an experimental self taught producer. With moments of life and love reaching into her subconscious, she gravitates to feelings and constructs the fragile emotion of a single thought. Unravels these thoughts and unties the knots to portray in her mind reflection which pours out to her into a song. It can only be described as whispers.
Growing up with the backdrop of the Rocky Mountains in her childhood home of Boulder, Colorado. Simply living and being surrounded by music of all the songwriters and musicians of her parents time and her herself being drawn to all genres but focusing on female singers like Sarah McLachlan, Jewel, Alanis Morissette, Natalie Merchant to name a few.
At 20 she moved across the country to be close to New York City. She met and worked with producers and other songwriters. She was a studio singer, singing backgrounds for hip-hop, pop, R&B groups. Making her way through New Jersey, New York and all the way up to Road Island singing at open mics, singer/ songwriting events and having her own shows with full bands.
She sang to the athletes at the Olympic Village in Salt Lake City for the 2002 winter Olympics. She sang the National Anthem at Madison Square Garden. A music teacher for many years and ran enrichment programs and summer camps music programs.
Now a mother of two living in the farmlands of New Jersey. Ready to share again the love of her music.
