DGB (Dem Gittens Boyz) the current name of the new born rap group from the Bahamas, Which includes 2 brothers both born at Princess Margaret Hospital, New Providence.Now living in Freeport Grand Bahama Latrell Gittens (Tunda) and Michael Gittens (T'O) who both fell in love with music from adolescents.Growing up, DGB played sports an was very good at whatever they invested time in doing.Tunda played the snare and bass drum in the church band and sang in the children choir so did T'O as well. Both grew to love harmonizing and making riddles of there own. Tunda began composing music on the computer with a software back then commonly known as fruityloops.As time went on two groups was formed in high school by the name of BLB (Bahamian Lover Boyz) and then (Da All StarzZ). DAS was a 4 man group that took off with a mixtape track called "Flip flopz" which opened doors on radio. This track then led them off to ATL to meet with producers and A&R's. From there they were permanently inspired to make rap a lifetime career.
On August 5,2009 landing another gig in North Carolina with Market America. The 3 group membership single "Welcome to Bahamas" lit up the airway but things took a turn spiritually.This then brought the group at 2 members, which inspired them to make a come back and release their new hit single the remake of Labi Siffre "Something inside" featuring Dano. The beginning of a new road.Now DGB is hard at work on a mixtape and a full-length album (as yet untitled), also featuring several guest artist.
