| About Kartel Route / N.A rock | Once known as one of the hottest spitters in HipHop....Uptown.... (signed to Tommy Boy Records in '88), was lyrically before his time. The single "Dope On Plastic" has been labeled a classic for its verbal weaponry. Switching it up a little, Six aka Uptown, made another recognizable scorcher with Buckshot Lefonque's "Music Evolution". After being on tour for up to 3 years with the jazz great Branford Marsalis; Uptown got back to what he does best....melt microphones. Now taking the moniker of SIX, Uptown is back to handing out heat seaking lyricism. Experience that real Hip Hop from a true veteran in the game.
