About The Grundy Solomons

The Grundy Solomons are back with their latest album "Please Restore To Factory Settings".
It is a melange of concupiscible tales that will keep you entranced from beginning to end: of love lost, desire, despair and above all hope.
Factory Setting as it is affectionately already being dubbed by their loyal and misguided fan spans a veritable cornucopia of emotions; from the excitement and despair of SS Rohilla to the dark possessive quality of Henry Tops. From the pathos of Song To Uncertainty, to the ethereal geekiness of My Atomic baby. This album is an essential addition to any insomniacs library.
Comes with a government health warning and an autographed photo of Vladimir Putin in drag at a dragon boat race in Leningrad.
I spent a week with the Grundy's touring the wilds of Titikarta, in the green expanses of the Nabian Desert, overlooking the sewage plant that is Great Yarmouth pleasure beach. Their latest Spiritual Advisor Bertie Rathtweetie was holding court that afternoon, so I accompanied the whole band on a wailing course and we spent the afternoon expelling the poison of our constipated chakras over the unsuspecting populous of this delightful part of North Suffolk. A truly a spiritual effluence.
Later from their apartment overlooking Balneario Beach, The Grundy's gave me an exclusive interview, much of which I am unable to print due to boundaries of popular taste and decency, but I really must share a unique moment from that evening in which Simon turned his deep penetrating stare at me and moved his mouth silently - whilst Alfie spoke for them both in that odd high pitched voice for which he is so famous; all the while gazing longingly out the window at a hot air balloon that was lifting upward on warm tropical thermals...
"It's a really experimental album for us. We dipped our toes into many different styles of music, we argued, laughed and I think ultimately grew as people... I mean learnt some deep spiritual lessons which will stay with us forever. We're so glad that we can share them with you, I mean We hope you enjoy it..."

The GS's are taking a break from recording for the foreseeable future to focus on developing their live act, watch out for news on appearances... Hopefully to include Glasto 2015.
