About Ice House ENT

Derrick Pearson aka Icy-D is one of the ARKLAHOMATEX most respected DJs. He started his career as a deejay when he was a junior at Haworth High, in Haworth OK. After high school, he attended Murray State Jr College in Tishomingo Ok. Although music was not his major, it was his passion. He was the deejay for the college dances as well as some of the local parties. After his 2 years at Murray State, he returned back to southeastern Oklahoma where he had live with his mom and younger brother since 1977. At this point, Icy-D knew that music was the career path he wanted to take. Shortly after returning home, he landed a weekend gig with the local radio station KZRB. Initially, he was the weekend late night deejay. He later moved into the weekend morning and afternoon spot. From there, he was moved to the weekend primetime spot…Friday and Saturday nights. He has held down this spot for the past 11 years. His platform is different for each night. His listeners tune in for his slow jam hour, his old school & blues hour; but mostly for his Mix Show. Icy- D also take time out to inform his listeners about new and aspiring artists, producers and authors. Being a deejay is not all that Icy-D has his on his plate these days. He writes, he raps as well as produces. He is also the founder and CEO of Ice House ENT in which includes his own record label “IceHouse Records”. Currently, he has 5 cds with the latest one being The Ice house Project. The singles on that cd are: Bel-Town Swangin’, Hold Up; I’m Guccie and Get Crunk.
