| About PASTOR DAVID OLAYEMI | Pastor David OLAYEMI, an independent artist, was raised up in a Christian home in Nigeria and was interested in music right from his youth as a member of his church choir, playing all kinds of percussion. He was later introduced into playing guitar by another church friend before he started digging deep into knowing how to play both keyboard and guitar by buying all available books in the market then. He primarily self tutored himself. As a secretary, his prowess in typing has also accelerated his speed in guitar and keyboard playing. He sings beautifully and has deep knowledge in what is known as sense of tonality. Before migrating to the United States of America; some few years back, he was a supporting solo guitarist for many Christian Singers, including Toun Soetan in Ibadan-Nigeria as well as performing as session man on the guitar for many Christian records - such as "OGO NI FOLU" and "AYO NPA MI O" in addition with performing at church convention services, marriages and all such like ceremonies. His main calling as a minister is in fact in the music ministry - a ministry that is gradually becoming more clearer than before in his life. He is married with 3 children and currently resides in Louisville, Kentucky, USA where he is pastoring at The Apostolic church-USA, Kentucky Assembly. |
