About Cat Rian

Hi everyone, I’m Cat! I’m just your average sixteen year old girl from Las Vegas, but with above average dreams. I’ve wanted to become a singer for as long as I can remember. According to my mother, who is a spectacularly imaginative woman, I started singing from the moment I came out of the womb! Whether or not this is true, the world may never know. So let’s just say I’ve been singing for a pretty long while. It’s my passion, my love, my life, and I plan to continue doing it for an even longer while.

I have a weird infatuation with eyes. It just astounds me how everyone’s are different – all with varied colors and patterns. Kind of like colorful snowflakes, I guess. Oh, and you may have noticed, I also love words. I’m not really sure why, but they make me feel more powerful. I’m definitely not a power hungry person, actually quite the opposite. I’m afraid to even hold small animals because I feel like I might injure them. I feel like words have an extreme amount of power within them, and I don’t need any more power than what they can give me. They in themselves can bring sadness to your eyes, anger to your heart, or love to your soul. I respect them for that attribute! Luckily so, as that respect has influenced me to use them with caution, and has saved me a lot of heartbreak as a result.

Because I’m so awe inspired by words, I love to write. I write music, short stories, and I’m actually working on writing my first novel. The process has taken a long time, but it’s coming together slowly but surely.

I also love movies- all types of movies- horror, romance, comedies- they all appeal to me! I mainly love romantic comedies and super hero movies. I realize that those may make an odd pair, but I’m odd too, so it works.

I’m really excited for my future. I find it so strange that it’s such a mystery, that I have no idea what’s going happen, and I don’t really have any control over it. I find it even stranger that everybody will come to this realization in life, and everyone will just go on living, never evening acknowledging it.

I’m in love with the city that I live in. The lights, the culture, the history, the music – Las Vegas is really an amazing place to be. I’m so lucky and grateful to be a part of it. I’m looking forward to experiencing new things in the city that I call my home, as well as new cities that I can only call the unknown.
