The T.E.A.M

BIOGRAPHY
As defined in the dictionary, a Team is a group on the same side, as in a game and/or a group organized to work together: a team of engineers, but it is now time to add on to that definition metaphorically (T) Time (E) Evolves (A) All (M) Matter. The T.E.A.M has been a team since the late nineties and have consistently put out good music since the first breath was breathed on the mic. They have witness first hand how the music industry has changed from building artist and longevity to short lived cookie cutter careers that only last as long as their first week sales. To be a part of this T.E.A.M, you must first master patience and the ability to know when the world is going through a natural shift and adapt. The T.E.A.M consist of many members. To be a part of this team, you do not need to rhyme or make beats, you can simply bring the right vibe to the studio and help the electricity build. This team is not put together by some record executive that believes in the vision. This T.E.A.M is built on trust and genuine respect for each one’s contribution and skills.
As the CEO of Big Biz Records LLC Brown aka Cheef brings his wordplay and ability to come up with quick catchy hooks. He is a veteran to say the least; he is a visionary with leader qualities and can turn a simple loop, drum, snare into a musical master-piece. His voice is distinct and he can get his point across with sarcasm, aggression, whit, and cleverness. He refuses to jump on the “I don’t write rhymes” bandwagon. He is a writer by all aspects of the title. When not rhyming, he focuses his time on finishing his self published book “His Ill-Omen Vision which is a suspense thriller that will shake up the Baltimore book clubs and beyond He is not a rapper. The T.E.AM doesn’t need rappers, only visionaries. He will be known for constructing one of the greatest movements in Baltimore history.
As the President of Big Biz Records Couso aka Jay-0 is a revolutionary waiting for the right venue to put this legacy in motion. To sum this guy up I would say “early retirement”. He is the future. He is high energy, quick metaphors, rapid flow, and undeniable content, with a voice that you will soon recognize. Some things are suppose to be, and he is one of them. He comes from a different planet. It took Brown and Coach Year’s to find their niche and even in the midst of finding it they were two steps ahead of the so-called competition. Couso has already found his niche and he fine tunes it in his sleep. I’m not over exaggerating his abilities, unlike many artists he doesn’t stick to a format of rapping; he puts rhyme patterns together that are against the grain. He has the ability to end a complete sentence and start a new rhyme pattern before you realize what he just said. At times he will remind you of Sadat X and how his word play capability is far beyond the beat. You will rewind his verses. Riding the beat comes easy to someone like Couso, he wants you to hear him, get him and ultimately understand him. He leaves you no choice.
As the CEO of Locker Room Entertainment Coach aka Omni Gifted is a musical genius he is five men in one. He produces, raps, engineers, mixes, and masters, which makes him a studio messiah. He is also a veteran and not new to the business, he is the heart and soul behind this movement. He has been exposed to all genres of music and is the Omni Gifted for a reason. Baltimore survived through the changes of hip hop from being introduced to break dancing, deejaying, to late night rhymes at the harbor. Coach has been a part of each phase which makes him a guru at his craft. If you don’t believe riddle me this, if you were locked in studio with a Triton, MPC, keyboard, mic, guitar, and a state of the art switchboard and you had to use all these instruments to make a hit, how many people would you need? If your answer is 1, then you must know Teddy Riley, Prince, or Dr. Dre. I think you get the point.
