| About Mr.Focus | Born in Brooklyn, New York, Focus is the new "era" of great music with a extra dose of personality. He has the ability to formulate situations in songs that invoke both thought and laughter. Focus represents the blue collar worker that enjoys the club party scene. His business begins Friday night but by Sunday morning there’s a need for self evaluation. With concepts ranging in similarities from 50 cent’s (In The Club) to Will Smith’s (Parents Just Don’t Understand); Focus delivers music that is marketable, target conscious and relevant. He has recently finished recording a 13 song C.D. with his own material titled "Strictly Business" which features a fiery blend of new and old school Hip Hop mixed with a hardcore return of the Boom Bap. Career Highlights Focus has performed as an opening act for Houston, Texas rapper Lil Flip at Club Escape in Binghamton, New York. Focus appeared at Binghamton’s State University of New York where he entertained the student body on several occasions. In November of 2007, Focus was accompanied by Travis of Gym Class Heroes in an after party performance at The Scoreboard nightclub in Binghamton, New York. In addition, Focus performed at The Urban Music Explosion Holiday Showcase 2007. This showcase was sponsored by Urban Threshold inc. and held at S.O.B’s. in New York City. Focus and Soul / R&B artist Haz received 1st Place accolades in the Hip Hop category to secure a meeting with Capital Records. Furthermore, Focus has performed in the southern tier regions top nightclub and performance venues, Flashbacks / Boca Joe’s, Club V, Scoreboard and Magic City Music Hall. Radio Exposure Focus's music has appeared on Syracuse, New York’s Hot 107.9 radio station. The song titled "I Think She's In Love" featuring Haz appeared on Hot 107.9 radio station after Plies and prior to Gwen Stefani feat. Damian Marley. Focus gained further exposure on Hot 107.9's radio station web site. He received rave reviews in the Proper Grind column of Live from Studio B. Focus makes a guest appearance on a song titled Gray Sky’s with Taj Mahal. Here he is featured on Taj Mahal’s upcoming release titled 'Dedication And Discipline'. Focus musical work includes Pistol City (2005), Pistol City 2 (2006), Age Of The Empire (2006), Hood 2 Hollywood (2006) and Strictly Business (2007).
