| About Jonathan Mark Hayden | My name is Jonathan Mark Hayden, a singer/songwriter, recording artist from Sunshine Coast Queensland. A quote from Hank David. CEO, partner, host and producer at Aussie Grown Radio. My aim is for air play across Australia for my first single 'Our Land'. I'm also recording my music at Glasshouse Studios Beerwah Qld. The first single (Our Land) is a digital release at this point, written here in Queensland and recorded at Glasshouse Studios with help of session musicians from Canada and Australia. 'Our Land' was immediately picked up and added to Aussie Grown across the nation website by Hank David. I am also recording my other music at Glasshouse Studios and aim for a CD release in the near future. I'm currently gigging at various venues across Sunshine Coast and South East Qld, working as solo artist, also working with a duo called ‘ Kikin Bak' and a band. I will promote the song where I can at my upcoming gigs. I began my musical journey at 21 years of age at the passing of my father who was my inspiration. He was also a singer songwriter. I picked up his guitar and began my song writing journey. I began touring Brisbane and Queensland and in 1988 was chosen to represent an Australian team of musicians to tour Qld alongside a Canadian team. This was a great experience where I built lifelong relationships with Canadian musicians. Eric Boorman, the Canadian drummer on that tour features on 'Our Land' single. Through Eric and his studio in Canada, we used session musicians for the Keys, some guitar parts and bass guitar. The didgeridoo however came through a family friend Garry Kafoa from Murwillumbah NSW. My plan is to continue working with people who have helped with my first project and bring more of my songs to new life with the help of Angus Woodhead director at Glasshouse Studios. 'Our Land' my first single will be followed by 'Fields of Plenty' another favourite of mine and depicts our country, the lucky country, so much wealth yet so many living on the streets.
