| About Loushin | Shine Recordz was established June 1st 2001, but at the time was named O Dawg Inc. Records. It started as a small set up, so that founder and owner Randy Loushin could promote his album without being an unsigned artist. A lot of shows and venues required the artists to be signed to a label to enter. So Loushin trademarked the O Dawg Inc. Records name, and partook in the events. After the album released, Loushin was forced to change his alias from ODG to Loushin. Since ODG was short for O Dawg, the label was renamed as well to Shine Recordz, and war retrademarked under the new name in 2006. Shine Recordz was then a driving force signing a wide awray of artists, and beat producers. Along with owner/founder Loushin himself, a few of the label's artists are known as Play, and KnR Productions. Though Shine Recordz is still a growing independant label, the production of CD's and products, such as the clothing line, are thriving and in demand. Also, the buisness deal with Knockreal Entertainment have things going in a great direction. Here at Shine Recordz, we are a family, and as in life, families expand and get stronger over time. We are always looking for unsigned tallent. We also know how hard it can be to get exposure as an unsigned artist. Shine Recordz does not have a problem promoting these kinds of artists free of charge, cause everyone has something to be heard. If the family thinks somethins hot, we'll promote. |
