About Ty Nitty (Infamous Mobb - IM3)

Ty Nitty was born and Raised in Queensbridge Projects. Growing up with his friends from the hood; Havoc, Twin, Godfather, Chinky and was later joined by Prodigy. Ty Nitty initially had a whole different career in mind. While the others dropped out of school to peruse their musical career, Nitty was focussed on playing basketball against the best from; Ron Artest, Lamar Odum, Stephan Marburry and Rayfield Alston. After the tragic loss of his big brother and father figure "Screwball", Ty Nitty started hanging out more in the studio with Havoc and Prodigy, neglecting both his school and his basketball dreams. Nitty's first musical glimpses came when Twin Gambino and him featured on the song "Animal Instinct" off Mobb Deep's "Hell on Earth" album in 1996.


Ty Nitty featured on "Thug Music", a track from the Mobb Deep album, Murda Muzik (1999). After a very intensive 1999 filled with media attention, shows, exposure alongside Mobb Deep's success in the United States as well as abroad- TY Nitty ,Godfather , and Twin formed the group, Infamous Mobb (IM3). In 2000, IM3 received a recording contract with Virgin Records, co-signed and taken under Havoc and Prodigy. In 2002 Ty Nitty, G.O.D, and Twin Gambino(IM3) released The Special Edition, followed by the 2004 CD/DVD Blood Thicker Water Vol 1. In 2007 IM3 released Reality Rap LP, shortly after in 2008 Ty nitty drooped his first solo "street" album ; Tsunami. Nitty next began working on his own record label called Love -n- Loyalty Records ;shared by "CO-CEO" T-Dad and President Vinny Thunn.
