Aston Thompson is the founder of Young T Production. A company that supports up and coming new musical artists. Aston is a great lover of music in any format be it R&B, Country & Western, Jazz or Reggae. He has a special regard to Roots, Rock and Reggae over the years and has formed a keen ear to the instruments played as well as the vocal proficiency of the artists. Young T Productions was formed due to the dillusionment of some vocalists whom, after spending years of perfecting their talent felt that they were not being taken seriously enough by the industry. Young T Productions saw the plight of these musicians and saw the potential therefore taking them on board to assist with publisizing and marketing their music to the public. 13 vocalists went into the studio and a magial formula was created. Two established singers, Mykle Rose, formerly of the Black Uhuruh and Roger Robin of the Saxon Stable collaborated. Both obliged and out of this collaboration came the birth of 'upliftment'. Upliftment is a mixture of hard core Roots, Rock and Reggae with culture lyrics melodious tones of the river flow and hurricane rhythm.
