About C.A.MILLION RECORDS

P-Stacks Biography
It has been an incredible journey for Atlanta native Gerald McCrary, professionally known over the years as “Playa Poncho”. With new creative sounds and beats, the youngster from the original rap group “A-Town Players”, once signed to Bellmark Records of Hollywood, California with album Playing for Keeps is back once again to put sounds of lyrical bliss in your ear. After being signed to So So Def with 1995 freak-nik banger turned Gold “Whatz Up, Whatz Up”(Bass All-Stars), Playa Poncho has written and produced songs for Lil Jon, Too Short, Killer Mike, Big Boi, and The Purple Ribbon All-Stars establishing credentials within the game. This multi- talented artist plans to take Southern rap to the next level with new album P-Stacks Gets Money.com.
From “A-Town Drop” to “Stacks In My Jeans”, Playa Poncho has managed to succeed even when things seemed to hit the wall. Born in Atlanta, Georgia before he found his inspiration for music, this youngster recalls helping his grandmother by working at King Edwards J Records & Tapes in East Atlanta. By the mid-2000s, Playa Poncho had built up his own record label, CA Million Records and produced tracks for some of Atlanta’s hottest artist; making his dreams a reality. Playa Poncho wrote and performed, club banger, “Who You Wit” and is responsible for the collaboration of Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz”. As Playa Poncho looks back on the years in the game he describes the music business as a “gift and a curse”. In an interview he states, “I was able to see the pros and cons of the industry. However, when I first received my record deal when I was fifthteen , I had no idea what I was getting into. There is so much to be learned in the business. Over the years, I have taken time to study the game and now with my new debut album, P-Stacks Gets Money.com, I plan to do me”.
As music involves from vinyl, cassette tapes, and compact discs, to outrageous mp3, “Playa Poncho changed his name to alter ego “P-Stacks” to compliment modern times. After being known in the game as “Playa Poncho”, “The King of the Strip Club”, and “DJ Playa Poncho” who hooked up with Legion of Doom, we are now formally introduced to P-Stacks who plans to get money and make a way.
