Welcome music lovers...Charlie Grimes, a.k.a. Charles Grimes, and C.Grimes...currently a SongCast solo-artist, is a veteran,jazz, pop, rock, R&B, Vocalist, Guitarist, Keyboardist, Composer and Songwriter. Classically trained while studying music at Occidental College, L.A., California, He is self-taught in the genres of Jazz and Blues. He has recorded and performed onstage with such great and diverse artists as John Lee Hooker, Stephen Stills, Claudia Lennear,B.B. King, Stevie Wonder, Elvin Bishop, Van Morrison; since the early 70's. His CD as an Independent SongCast Music artist: Blues Rock Rocks With The Blues...So Turn It Up., is available for preview and sale on iTunes, Amazon.com, Emusic.com. About The CD: Produced, arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered by Charlie Grimes... Ironically perhaps, even though written during 2003, many of the themes around which the songs were created relate to world events that have occured and are happening today; Gang-Violence, Katrina, Global Warming, Wars and Pollution.
