About Other People's Children

Evolution is a key ingredient in what has been the success of Other People's Children. What originally started in April 2008 as a two piece acoustic grunge project, quickly grew into a 4-piece grunge/metal project that spread their name fast and booked them over 50 shows in a 4 month period. Now, almost a year later, the sound has evolved even further. With the addition of a second guitar player ("Diamond" Doug Anderson) and a new bass player (Nick Clark), OPC's music has become the most defined it has ever been. The new sound is heavier, more technical, and very melodic. It pushes the limits of local music, as well as challenges every member of the band to make their best music ever. Its darker, in your face, and catchy as all hell!

This next evolution is guaranteed to blast these guys to the top. Split riffs, blasting drum beats, lead-like bass lines, and extreme, heart felt vocals, bring their sound together into a symphony for your ears. Its still OPC, just more volatile and much better!!

The sound has helped boost them throughout the local scene, and opened up various opportunities for the band. 2009 promises to be the year of OPC, with headlining spots in this years 2-day Campfest at the Mishawaka, support spots on this years first annual Cheyenne Metal Fest, and a national tour kicking off the summer with their friends Pain of Dying; by the end of the year OPC will be a household name!
