| About RANDY LYNN MUSIC | My musical career began as I learned to speak , coming from parents who where both musically gifted. I started playing music professionally during the mid 1970's , playing mostly the Texas Dance Halls and private bookings , and in the 1980's playing the professional rodeo cowboy circuit in Texas and also major Texas Country Night Clubs. I also wrote gospel music and sang in church. I have been writing my own material this year and this is my first CD project and I hope you enjoy the songs, especially He'd Do Anything and Trunk Full Of Memories. Those two songs are my best writing and I am really proud of the songs. In 1973 I was injured in an auto accident and became a paraplegic. After being hibernated for two years, music is what got me out of the house. I have written a song called "STILL WAITIN' " which addresses waiting for a cure for spinal cord injury . I also used the same music when I got an idea from Sarah Palin , who said she could see Russia from her house , I came up with the idea of seeing the LIGHTS OF TENNESSEE from my Texas home. THe song addresses feelings I have about the direction country music is headed and I hope you like the song. And thank you Ms. Palin !! It isn't easy living with a spinal cord injury , but at the same time , you just have to do what you have to do to overcome obstacles that lie in front of you and keep finding ways to do things differently. It is a challenge, and I appreciate the people who have dedicated helping find a cure for spinal cord injury , and especially all of the efforts of the late Christopher and Dana Reeve. Thanks so much for supporting my music !! Sincerely, Randy Lynn |
