| About MILA RECORDS | Corey Holland, better known as Nitres or The Veteran, is a rapper born in Raleigh, NC and raised all over its close surrounding cities. He is best known for his cocky swag rap delivery and signature adlib, “Come On”. Nitres has worked hard since 2005 to establish himself as a leader throughout the local music community. Nitres began rapping at age 10, when he was introduced to the art in the fifth grade by his former best friend of the time, (Tyrone Quirley). Nitres attended Garner School where he began to make a name for himself freestyling in lunch cafeteria rap battles and ciphers. He eventually had the opportunity to record his material in a local professional recording studio for the first time in his junior year. A few years later in 2007 he would be introduced into the local Raleigh music industry by a more established fellow artist (rapper/producer/promoter Lava Izzo). In addition to the hard working artist Nitres, he founded his label Mila Records llc in 2007 that consist of more eager, and passionate artist. Nitres also has a strong promo team that kills the streets right now called "Team Takeova". The team consists of marketing wizards, managers, producer and some of the hottest artist in the state. Music from Nitres is very inspirational and inspires people to have fun, live life, be positive, get money, and work hard for what you believe in. He uses catchy lyrics and unique delivery to paint vivid pictures of personal experience of deepest fears, hope, goals and dreams. |
