| About Nakhira | Nakhane Precious Magoswana , better known as Nakhira, is a House artist from Mafikeng. She grew up in a small city in the Eastern Cape, East London. She participated in school choirs, theatre productions through your primary and high school. She was a backing vocalist for indie Afro folk singer Asanda Msaki in 2012 and 2013. After she matriculated in 2015 she moved to the Northwest to study at Northwest University Potchefstroom Campus. She then joined the NWU Serenaders, a choral music choir who are now the champions of NCF. She moved to Mafikeng at the end of 2016 to join the SABC Learner-ship program for Film and Television Production. In 2017 she signed with (This That and The Rest Management) as a Gqom artist. 31/03/17 she released her first official single, MonnaMotho. In February 2018 she collaborated with a Nigerian hip hop artist from kigali called 1Railed and they released a single together called MMaWe. May 2018, Nakhira released her follow-up single called Ngaphandle and now is working on her debut EP to be dropped in August 2018. Over and above the music, Nakhira also happens to be an actress and filmmaker. She is currently working as a casting agent for one of the most well established agencies around Gauteng, Talent-Etc. She is also a production coordinator for a production house in Johannesburg called In-Sight Media House. As you can see, she is quite the all rounder in the entertainment industry and hopes to achieve her dream of becoming an Entertainment Guru. |
