| About Nu Sound Factory | Mojalefa Thebe Biography Mojalefa Thebe is a Dobsonville, (SOWETO) born musician, songwriter. Music producer and record label owner. Mojalefa Thebe with the late Robbie Malinga produced the Multi-Platinum selling Albums “Loliwe and Phendula “ by Zahara, the Albums won Multiple Awards, also Produced best New Artist Naima kay, but that’s not where it started. He completed his matric at George Khosa Secondary School and went on to study Electrical Engineering at Wits Tech, however destiny called .He had a major interest in being in the entertainment industry .He joined a music group called Frenz who went on to record their first album with Gallo Records and that was only the beginning. After completing his Engineering studies He decided to give the music thing a chance before joining the working force. He went on to work and produce many Kwaito artists such as S’bus Amalawyer album, Monate feela. Met Robbie Malinga and wrote songs for S’fiso on the my love song album, produced Robbie Malinga albums from Lobola, Mporo-mporoma,Susan ,Meadowlands and many more. Mojalefa went on to join the gospel group Redeemed .The group's spirited debut album titled “REDEEMED Live in Soweto” came out through Lebo M's Till Dawn Records. The album went on to win a METRO award in 2006 for BEST URBAN GOSPEL and a SAMA award in 2007 for the BEST URBAN GOSPEL. They released their second album GOD IS ABLE through Universal Music, and went on to win the Crown Gospel award for best Urban Gospel Album. In 2003 Mojalefa Thebe joined forces with TS records to produce songs for Mzekezeke and Brown Dash however, Producing the first two Ntando Albums, Yvonne Chaka-chaka’s Makoti album, Choppa Magarita’s album and Nhlanhla Nciza’s Inguquko album have been a highlight in his career as a producer. Mojalefa Thebe has recently worked on a great Gospel concept called Gospel alive where he played the role as Music director and Music Producer. Currently Mojalefa Thebe is worked on Albums by Berita, Zarara’s Mgodi, Kelly Khumalo’s Unleashed, Zandie Khumalo – Izikhali Zamantungwa, Ndu Shezi -Ngthanda wena, He is working on his new Label NuSound Factory, Jamaican Gospel Artist Chevelle Franklin ,Remixes and songs for international artists. He is looking forward to a successful international career in the entertainment industry. |
