You'll love what Groove has to offer! Born David Groove Cela to Legrand and Marie L.Edmond the proud parents knew from a toddler he would be something in music. He would mimic the songs he heard and hum them in tune. He would sing with everything he did and hum all he didn't know.He would use pot and pan to make music. Well it started then but that's not where it ended.Groove grew up in a neighborhood in Newark,NJ A three family house manage by Groove father and he made sure he attended church regularly. While attending he became a devout member in the youth choir at the early age of 10. Not long after he was recognized by his high pitch voice.There was no turning around from there. While at home he was growing up on Michael Jackson and Stevie Wonder. In school he took band and choir from 6th grade until his last year in high school. He received many awards for outstanding performance in band as well as winning about every talent show he ever entered. Serious and destined for more, it was in high school where he started arranging vocal groups, writing songs, and producing music. Playing musical instruments came natural to him, the production came from his protool M.I.D.I class at Jefferson High school where he produced most of the songs he wrote and later arranged them in 3 part harmonies.His crew did well in the talent shows and were very popular in his high school.His vocal recording comes from DML production. Today while producing and recording his solo project.
