| About Mega | Mega is no stranger to those who know of him but indeed a multi-talented individual and an undiscovered great artist. His real name is: Tahjaleenie Tahji known to many formerly as “Mega Body”. Mega appeared as an extra in the once famous Fox Television show New York Undercover, in music video Gotchya Wide Open by former rapper LaShawn and in a music video by rock group INXS. He has also appeared on the Ricki Lake, Maury Povich, and RuPaul shows and featured in magazines. Mega comes from a musical artistic background family that was surrounded by gospel singers and musicians. He has always had a great love for hip hop, house and reggae music. He also loves R&B and any other music that can make people dance. He knew since he was a child that he wanted to be an entertainer and one day a celebrity. Some of the greatest hip hop artist that inspire him are KRS One, Eric B & Rakim, Biz Markie, Nice & Smooth, RedMan, Brand Nubian, Run D MC, LL Cool J, Special Ed, Big Daddy Kane, Grand Master Flash, Furious 5, Leaders of the New School, Chubb Rock, Brand Nubian, Kid N Play, Busta Rhymes, Tupac, Nas,Biggie Smalls, and Luke. Female rappers: Salt N Pepa, Roxxanne Shante, Queen Latifah, MC LTYE, Lil Kim, Foxy Brown, and many more. While most artists were chasing their dream of fame in the hip hop arena, Mega was in the background in block parties dancing up a storm to their music. Occasionally, he would grab the microphone and spit some rhymes to just show he could rap. Once Mega moved to New York, he pushed his rapping career back to survive. He became a break dancer performing on the city streets. He later chose to pursue a career in the adult entertainment industry becoming one of New York’s top male exotic dancers following in the footsteps of his mother who was a former Go-Go dancer. He also became a freelance model. In 2006 Mega penned his self-published book titled: G-String Dreams: True Confessions of a Male Exotic Dancer, which is based on his true life story revealing his trial and tribulations and success. The book is a national bestseller. After Mega released his book, he realized one thing, “You Only Live Life Once”, and so he decided to chase his dreams of becoming a true entertainer through hip hop. His forthcoming album titled: Don’t Stop Dreaming Bigger features his new club hit single Shake Ya Hips, Dream Bigger, his street anthem for the children, Mama’s Punch and One Last Shot, a song written about his life.
