I Wish U Well is the first project that represents the hopes, aspirations, dreams, and struggles of Brett Grant, who is the founder and President of the company. Education, as perceived by our company, is holistic, which means that it involves awareness of the mythological themes that unite us across cultures, as well as the music that inspires us, the food that nourishes us, and the entrepreneurial creativity that rejuvenates us. I Wish U Well is an expression of both significant and insignificant ideas designated to delight the ear and appeal to the imagination and feeling. It is a culmination of years of recordings from Los Angeles to San Francisco to Urbana, Illinois. Booker T. Washington, the 19th century educator, once told a group of students that they should go to town with their pockets empty and their wagons full of their own produce, and that they should return with their wagons empty and their pockets full of money. This album is a modern day interpretation of Washington's admonition. Lastly, Grant Industries, Inc. distinguishes itself in the market by promoting an approach to education that connects academic knowledge to holistic entrepreneurship.
