About GREY EYE VIEW

This is the time we want to release ourselves to the masses and begin making real the idea of a GREY EYE VIEW. We are all from Sumter, SC and there's four of us. We have Jason Mcleod who is our vocals, and guitarist. He was part of the original group along with the rest of these guys. Jack Drawdy has the drums along with about 8 pairs of sticks that last him one show (he trashes most of them). Larry West is our bassist. THIS guy plays a six-string bass which is something I had never seen until I met him. Not only can he play the crap out of it, he is the active element in our band acting like an insane maniac but he's actually pretty calm most of the time so it's ok. And lastly I'm Al Broadway and I am a guitarist and (sometimes) backup vocals. Most of my habits are jaw-clinching and fast-picking when we change up during a fast song. Don't know why, maybe it's all the METAL I was exposed to earlier in life. Anyway, as far as contributions to our music we have a lot of different backgrounds. I've been used to playing Silverchair, Norma Jean, Nirvana, Deftones. Jason is more familiar with Nickelback, Godsmack, and Hinder. Michael Shane is mostly Metallica and Alice in Chains. Larry, being Larry, enjoys Tool, Mudvayne, Primus, and whatever else I like. We have been together since March of 2008 and we have our self-titled album. We do play covers sometimes but we prefer our own. When you listen to us make sure to leave comments, concerns, irrational thoughts, peanut butter, whatever. WE NEED SHOWS SO TALK ABOUT US TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW! We try to keep this thing as updated as possible, including tidbits of ourselves along with what's going on in our everyday lives.
