About artistic noise

While he has had the great fortune of working with the best of musicians, the soul of AN is Victor Nares. Robert Sermeño (El Paso), Daniel Hernandez (Curpus Christi), Alex Preciado Jr (El Paso), Jonas Bishop( New Orleans), Jorge Avila( Southern Cal), Daniel Gililand (El Paso), Aaron Pedregon (El Paso), Dolores Briones (El Paso), Rick Lawrence (Ontario, Canada), Barry Sherman and many others have given of themselves to forge the sound that is AN. To be sure, their would be no AN without them. Taken from the name of a creative process where ideas are allowed to flow freely…free of any judgment and censure, it can be said that Artistic Noise apologizes only for its crudity and not for its lack of sincerity. Combining Techno rhythms and Rock soul, AN is certainly not banking on familiarity or convention to move it’s listener but rather its raw energy and sincerity. Sounding something like the forgotten love child of Depeche Mode and ZZ Top, this Texas techno-rock band looks to forge its own space in the hearts and minds of its unsuspecting fans. Between 2003 and 2005, AN, in its various forms, played well over 40 shows in El Paso and Las Vegas. In the process, AN gained the attention of the record label Fiberline Audio, who to this day brings AN music to the world. Likewise, a remix of AN’s Devils Burn (Shimuk) toured the world via the talent of DJ Hernan Cataneo and Shimuck as the song made its rounds supporting New Order and The Crystal Method. Despite having enjoyed radio play in El Paso/Juarez and supported such electronic icons as Berlin and Anything Box, AN music is still widely unknown….for now. Recently Alex P. has come back into the mix and is working with Victor to take the next steps! ... ..
