| About Dan hartal | Hartal is a composer, songwriter, musician, performer and producer. He has composed, written and produced songs for various Pop, Rock, R&B, Hip Hop, and Dance-hall artists. He is also, an Elvis Presley impersonator known as Schmelvis. Schmelvis has been profiled in many publications as notably; TV Guide, The Montreal Gazette, New York Post, New York Times, The Economist and Biography Channel , Global CH TV. With over 75 recorded songs on iTunes, Dan Hartal's music plays regularly in Europe, Asia and North America. Most recently, Hartal independently released a new Lounge Jazz Single "Chillin" . In the early 1990's the Montreal Mirror voted Dan Hartal as ' the next act to make it big' Hartal's single "What happened to the sun" was featured regularly on Musique plus. The song:'Woman to me' sold to a US publishing house and his song 'You'll never know' was used as a theme song for a CJAD radio show.
