About KANE

KANE is an upcoming artist out of Oregon. He was born in Pomona, CA. He and his mom moved to Eugene around 1990 and soon after the rest of his family followed. Kane is from a close knit family and they all live today in Eugene, OR.

He and his homies had been rappin and doin shows for about 10 years and Kane decided it was time to take this rap shit more serious. Kane started Hard Times Records, as the owner and president, in 2002. In 2003 Hard Times released their first album. It was a 5 song EP self entitled "Hard Times Records". This gained him success and fame around the town and built a following for his next project, the "West Coast Connections" the Compilation.

"West Coast Connections" and Dirt Dane's solo debut "I Thought Ya'll Knew" were dropped by Hard Times Records in 2004. The Hard Times crew traveled to do shows and threw many concerts locally. Both albums were hot and are still circulating the area. Hard Times fan base continued to grow and many people wondered when would KANE release his debut album.

"100% Snow" is the title of Kane's first album. I was much anticipated around Oregon and in Cali. The album has received praise from fans and critics up and down the West Coast. You can check Kane out in Xplosive magazine or on the Internet. You might have even seen his commercials on BET and MTV that aired last winter across Oregon, or you might have heard him burning up the airwaves on local radio shows.

The best way to experience KANE's music is at a show. He has opened for celebrities like E-40, TooShort and Yukmouth and Hard Times sponsered shows. Kane and Hard Times Records perform shows all over the West. You can find them in WA, OR, CA, NV, MT, and more. Concert dates are on the website www.myspace.com/hardtimesrecordsmusic where you can also hear songs from any of Hard Times records or purchase albums. The website also has all of Hard Times young new- talent, check it out and see what Hard Times Records is all about.
