| About Triplight | Triplight is a band spawned from the reality of growing up in a small town – specifically Forest, Ontario (hometown of Emm Gryner). Band members Gavin Van Walde (bass/backing vocals) and Dalton Pettit (drums) have been jamming together in basement bands since they were in Grade 7. They met Luke Teeple (guitar/vocals) in their first year of high school and wrote their first song Day By Day in Grade 10. And now that the band is coming of age (legal drinking age that is), they have released their debut CD. Sophisticated is a collection of 12 songs laden with strong hooks, and catchy melodies. Their lyrics are clever, mature, and from the heart. Songs from the album have already received radio play in London, Ontario at 94.9 CHRW and on the FM96 Indie Show. Sophisticated by Triplight was recorded and produced by Glen Teeple at The Music Room near Arkona, Ontario. |
