Frankie Baby or St, Vincent & the Grenadines is a calypso singer, songwriter. Known as the "Calypso King of the UK & Europe," he is one of the most well-known and successful calypsonians. In the UK He has won UK Carnival Road March competition eight (4) times and has been named Calypso Monarch eleven (5) times

Francis Robertson better known as Frankie Baby, affectionately dubbed, The Stroker is the unrivaled Calypso King of UK & Europe, with a career that spans over 20 years and counting. This artist par excellence has earned his rightful place as "King of the Soca World" by defeating every other competitor/ to his throne. He has entertained audiences across the globe, including, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, to name but a few.
Frankie's roots are in Rose Hall, a rural Mountain village in St. Vincent. He was born to a Hard working class family. They migrated to his adopted homeland, England, when he was just 12 year old. He attended the Mill End School where he was selected to sing in the boys. Choir. This was his initial involvement in music.
Other influences included listening to The Mighty Sparrow, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin ,, and the early calypso’s of Lord Melody, Lord Kitchener,
At the tender age of 35, Frankie emerged, as the leading Calypsonian with his record-breaking hit, Lady from the country (Sandra Girl, Written by (The Mighty Pat of St. Kitts)). Throughout the years he managed to showcase his diversity each year with the release of at least one album
In 1999 he released Caribbean Woman, (a song that reflected his Love of all Caribbean Women). In 2000 his career continued to soar with the melodious Bird in A storm and Something going on, Just Call on me and Fire in me Backyard followed in 2001. when he presented us with My Kingdom and Working in the factory.
Now in 2010, Frankie Baby, continues to rule the Calypso/Soca world with his voice, lyrics and melodies. He is demonstrating once more that he is the King. His new release, Man Cry Like A Baby is full of dance, humor and facts.
Suzannah is a track full of dance and proof positive that the King is truly global with his music.
