| About Drypoint | Drypoint is a band located in Seattle, Washington originally from Tokyo, Japan. They play a cross genre of Funk/Rock/Pop that is inspired by Phoenix, Michael Jackson, Corinne Bailey Rae, and Jamiroquai. In the past month Drypoint have played at the Vera Project, El Corazon, Chop Suey, headlined Q Cafe, The High Dive, and are soon to play two shows at the University of Washington. With every show, they have been met with great response and continue to build a loyal fan base. They are currently in the studio making our first full length album. Professional Reviews: "These guys have a great sound," at Berklee College of Music- Don Was, Grammy Award Winning Producer (Rolling Stones, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Dylan) "I foresee a great future for Drypoint!" Attie Bauw, Grammy Nominated Producer (Judas Priest, Bootsy Collins) Their vision is very simple; music is only the means to something far greater. They believe that through generosity, compassion, and love, poverty can make its way into the unfortunate pages of history. |
