About Brandon Hixson

Brandon Hixson is a singer, songwriter, saxophonist and producer from North Texas. He has been actively involved in music for over 10 years. He was the lead singer and sax player for the Christian outfit Godfueled from 2000-2007. The group released an independent LP titled “TWENTYFOUR.SEVEN” in 2006, which included the singles, “Prayer of Wings” written by Hixson and guitarist Preston Cave and “Why Me, Jesus?” also written by Hixson, Quarterflash’s, Marv Ross and Eva Wilson. Brandon and his wife Karen founded the Christian Rock band Splendorleaf in 2007. Members of Splendorleaf included Kenny and Debbie Carter, Gary Poe, and Pete Rios, all of Corsicana Texas. The band released their self-titled debut album in late 2007. The Christian Radio and Retail Weekly selected “What’s In This Love” as the albums’ first single, charting at #5 in April 2008. The band’s sophomore project, “Waiting On A Cue” was released in February 2009. Brandon released a personal project entitled “My Heart’s Melody” in November 2009.
