| About THE FIRM (Indonesia) | THE FIRM is an Alternative Pop Band from Indonesia. Started by the same interested about music, The Bends with personnel’s are Odie, Aji, Ariel & Anay Ndut were lacked of personnel for vocalist and keyboardist position. Then they recruited Ipang & Ian Gorgom for join to the group and made a new band. The Firm is an ordinary pop band. We combine elements of 70s rock, 90s pop, and elements that carried by industrial electronic music, because we don’t like “midi” too much. Retro and futuristic sounds built up the character of the band. THE FIRM tries to give hopeless and dark feel in their music. Broken hearted is something bad, but THE FIRM presents that bad things to be beautiful sound. In their songs, romantics and reality lyrics about failing in love are being one of their characters. Static’s vocal, classic distortion guitar effects, conservative harmonic bass, keyboard and synthesizer as pressure of the taste. The Firm influenced by Radiohead, Rialto, Sonic Youth, Morrissey, Moby, etc. Our songs are gloomy and filled with turmoil, just right to be heard, enjoyed and not to be danced. |
