About Catherine Hill

Raised in the country town of Grafton Nsw Australia. Now residing in Brisbane, Queensland. My debut single called Goodbye To You My Dear Friend was written after the death of my father Kenneth Wyborn 18 August 2009. My father was an electrical engineer and the inventor of the Wymo Wheelchair Hoist which is a device that puts a wheelchair on the roof of a car for a disabled person. He served his country in WW11 in Papua New Guinea and was a dedicated Rotarian and a recipient of The International Excellence in Vocation Award.
My father was my biggest fan and loved listening to me play the piano and the guitar. He and my mother were also pianists. Dad played boogie woogie and old 1930 songs and mum is a classical pianist. I play both styles and many others. Lover of music. Dad always said you'll never be bored if you can play an instrument or fish! Many people cry over this song, especially if they've lost someone recently and others find it uplifting. It is a beautiful song and was written with love.
