About Phil Randall

Hi Welcome to my life. I'm Phil Randall, a Musician/songwriter, based in Bedfordshire UK. I have also lived in Worcester where I went to school. Instruments played include Piano, Guitar, Mandolin, Violin, and Drums. I'm currently working on my fourth album of solo demo songs. I wrote my first song when I was 15, and I've now written over 300 songs, a number of them now recorded in one form or another. Brief history of PHIL RANDALL After being in local school bands, THE EPICS, and The TERRAPINS, formed APR , along with ADRIAN ROWE (Keyboards and Percussion) and ROGER MINGAY (Vocals), as a result of a Portastudio Course at the 33 Arts Centre, Luton run by Martin Parfitt. During this period, I also worked with Sherena Smith known as Sherena Dugani today in 1992 who did the theme song to the movie Saving Grace in 2000 she sang three songs for me "Bad Dreams(with A.P.R)" "Fallen Angel" and "Coming Right Back". APR released 4 demo albums: "BRAVE NEW WORLD" (1990), "WALKING THE FINE LINE" (1991), "DAWN SKY" (1992) & "BUILDING BLOCKS" (1993) You can listen to APR's songs at ratemycreation.com seach for APR. Roger left in 1994, Adrian and I continued to work together as PHADE, releasing 1 demo album "PHADE" in 1995 I went solo, after working with a couple of female singers, CHARLENE SHEARER, and SARAH DIXON-SMITH, "Sing To Me" "Love Me Let Me Know" and "Jemenine". My first solo demo album, "PHIL RANDALL" was released in 2003, followed a year later by "OUTSIDE IN" (2004), and "IT'S ALWAYS THE QUIET ONES" (2006).
