| About CHEDDA HOUND | CHEDDA HOUND The artist known as Chedda Hound was born Timothy Curenton, in Hempstead, New York. During a hard time for a new generation to start; at a young age Timothy was sent to live with his father in Yazoo City, Mississippi. Being raised in the ‘’Dirty South’’, he gained the many skills that it takes to drive his talent and survive in the music industry and to stand out in his art. Starting out as a professional boxer in the late 1990’s, Chedda Hound learned his strength in fighting for what he wanted. He has taken his lessons in the ring to lead him into the next level of entertainment that is Chedda Hound’s unique sound and character. His chosen beats are as ageless as his appearance. Hip Hop 101.. His style will set a higher standard in the rap game that will surely get people interested in his works. His stage performance is completely centered on grabbing and holding the attention of his fans, introducing all to his hypnotic sound and style. He leaves the crowds chanting hooks such as from his hit single Mr. Mississippi (M-I-Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter, I, Hump Back, Hump Back, I)..!!!! He has now set to giving his all in his newest project entitled “Faith & Patience..”. This project is based on the journey of growing up in the south, traveling and working in the industry that easily will leave many great artist behind or simply unseen/unheard. He has dedicated himself to making an international name for “CHEDDA HOUND”. This project proves that the “Dirty South” has a lot more to offer than stories of poor country folk with broken English and bad manners.
