Born Dontez Kelly, KB aka MR 216 hails from the east side of Cleveland, Ohio. He spent the first 10 years of his life in Compton, California. The next 10 years were spent back on the streets of his hometown, and now he finds himself in the dirty, Montgomery, Alabama. In his lifetime he has seen and done many things people twice his age couldn’t even dream,listen and you will figure out what. That's where music comes in. With a sort of shy composed demeanor, instead of talking to anyone he would write. From poetry to r & b to rap; his gift is truly special. In his words he says” my lyrical content is god sent”. There seems to be a lot of people who agree. He is a well established songwriter with major credits to his name. But as he states, "now is the time for me to do me". With countless mixtape features and a few underground albums, he is now set to release his first official album “Cadillac muzik”. Under his newly founded record label, KBR, he plans to kick in the door and establish himself as greatness. Time will tell.
