About The Liberators
|
This debut album has been described by independent reviewers from 6 Continents as quite simply " Art ". Written by 2 half-brothers from the UK, the album is conceptual in as much that it has been written from the outset as the soundtrack and storyline to a Rock Opera entitled "Jean & Her Plasticine Machine". An ambitious undertaking, it has to be said..nonetheless, it breaches typical musical boundaries associated with today's popular music palettes by focusing on tradition, while embracing experimentation. FULL ALBUM AVAILABLE NOW ON DOGSTAR RECORDS As classic and as British as a jar of marmite. A tasty spread of musical goo to satiate the undiscerning palates of the British working class. You either love them or hate them. In one long year, The Liberators have achieved very little; no endorsements, no sponsorship deals and absolutely no interest from record labels big or small. They haven't been featured on TV, radio or even in the music press. In fact, they haven't even played a live gig yet. They haven't won any competitions (not that they can be arsed entering them anymore). In addition, they've had literally hundreds of failed contact attempts from Musicians in Your City.com (not our fault- the sites a pain in the ass). Despite this The Liberators remain upbeat and confident that 2010 will bring them the fame and fortune they deserve.
