| About masterless | I'm a South African born and raised musician who immigrated to the UK in the mid 2000s. I spent my early years in music working in music instrument retail dealing in vintage and rare instruments and working as a roady and guitar tech as well as teaching guitar. My primary focus however, was an originals act known as "The Construct". So named after the white room in The Matrix where the heroes gather whatever weaponry they'll require for any particular mission. I did however grow frustrated with the collaborative creative direction of the band and decided to set off on my own with the aim of having less dilution to the heaviness of the project and less commercial influence in the stylistic approach. Having subsequently moved to the UK I spent a few years working for Andertons Music company in Surrey.I left England however shortly after the suicide of my father and because I'd met the woman who would become my wife in years to come. I currently reside in Belfast, Northern Ireland,and am now a father of two and husband. I also coach martial arts in my spare time (Kendo and Iaido). I run two YouTube channels,one for music featuring my own work as well as the works of others and another focused on Kendo and Iaido. |
