About Stanley Jacobus

The youngest of eight, Stanley was born in Portland, Oregon, to parents Leann and Stanley, Sr. For as long as he can remember, he's had a ridiculous and unhealthy obsession with singing, songwriting, and Mandy Moore. Shortly after graduating high school, he packed his shit and moved to Hollywood, where he did too many drugs and wrote too many songs, most of which made it onto his debut album, a record of typical teen angst and heartache, conveyed with such gusto that it's pretty hard to not ... take him seriously. After three long years in a place that can swallow someone whole without spitting them back out, Stanley met the love of his life and re-located back to Portland. Eight months later, he took an even bigger step and moved to the capitol of Alaska, where he currently resides. KINDA SORTA TRAGIC is being shopped, and Stanley is back in the recording process after a year-long absence. He's 23, feeling incredibly old, and trying to make a billion bucks so he can support his chapstick addiction.
