| About 2saint of deadlysoundz | Coming from a family well known for their influence in all genres of music, it’s no surprise that Jarod (2saint) chose to continue the legacy of the Toussaints’ musical history. With a father who not only played the guitar, he was also the front man of one of the most popular bands on the southern music scene. Then add a brother and sister who also played instruments, Jarod (2saint) was always in the presence of music. Jarod (2saint) found his musical niche in the art of percussion by playing for his Church’s Choir. Not one to limit himself, Jarod mastered instruments ranging from the flute to the trombone. Inspired mainly by the rap group NWA, Jarod started a local rap group called the “Bachelors” with his childhood friends; however due to creative differences the group eventually parted ways. Jarod (2saint) has remained humble and focused throughout his 14 years of music, marketing, producing and management. Jarod has produced hits for local labels and artist such as Dead Game Records, Dope Celebrity Records, Max Minelli, Nussie and many more. With this experience, 2saint was able to build a local buzz for himself that reached former No Limit artist and CEO of TRU Records and Master P’s younger brother Corey Miller (C-Murder). Shortly after Corey Miller’s release 2saint produced Corey Miller’s first album after 5 years of incarceration entitled “Screaming for Vengeance” featuring famous artist such as Chamillionare, Papoose, Krazy Bone, Pimp C, B Legit, Too Short, Mia X and many more. Jarod is now the CEO of his own record label Deadlysoundz Muzik and is looking forward to continuing the Toussaint Musical Legacy. |
