About Ray Albert

I'm one of those people whom gives off much more in person than through some written alibi, but here goes:

I speak often in puzzling proverbs; dropping metaphors like similes.

Music, to me, is truly my life. Not only told from the points of view through experiences, hopes and realizations; but in the sense of humility, inquisitiveness and traditionalism as well.

I lay my life -sorry, music- out there raw, unedited and always recorded in front of a live audience. Such as in life, without second takes; other than to try again. As I so diligently practice and preach, my music -sorry, life- is always free and open to interpretation. As I have said so many times, "If every man has his price, I am truly free".

Afterall, is music is so many people's lives, I find it quite discerning how many people have put a price-tag on themselves. Where I come from, we call them 'whores'.

There is humor. There is truth, pain and remorse. I ask questions, offer answers and seek solutions striving the betterment of society and myself; whom are one in the same. I listen to the deafness, see the blindness, smell the faint and taste the plain obvious while feeling the warm chill of the void. I hope to someday sense the impossible presence and be one at peace with a piece of the ever-changing time called the present.

I play hockey. I chill with drunks. I believe in strength through solidarity. I waste time with peeps who blaze, trip and speak their mind. I play music and only record live. I try to like everyone. I eat meat. I'm imperfect. I compromise. I am me.
