| About matt smith | I have always been interested in music. When I was a young I use to listen to my older Brother play the keyboard. He would play music from 80's like Pet shop boy's, New Order, Soft Cell and many other tunes with good beats to them. My biggest wish would be one day to play just like him. I messed about on toy keyboards till when I was 13 when my parents got me a full size keyboard. I practiced all the time, the first tune I learned was unchained melody. From then on I learned all the tunes by brother played plus loads more. After a while I began making up my own music. I had been writing songs since I was 8. But it became more enjoyable when I could put words to music. Over the last 14 years I have written hundreds of songs ranging from many styles. I have only recently started having my songs recorded at the studio. Unfortunately I am not blessed with the best voice but I really do try. My biggest dream is to hear my songs being played on the radio and to just walk past a stranger in the street who is humming one of my songs to themselves. My voice is not the best but my words are my passion! |
