| About DunDeal Records LLC. | Ddot Rogers For Springfield’s up and coming rap artist Ddot Rogers, music is a way of life. From a very young age Ddot began writing as a way to escape into peace and self- realization. Short stories and poems evolved into life stories and lessons set to music. Emerging from divorced parents, a crime ridden city and a less than successful school career, which included continuous, bullying the 19-year-old rap phenom held steadfast to his dreams of peace, love and equality. Ddot continued to put pen to paper in order to express his thoughts and desires. Ddot is not your typical mainstream rapper, he only raps about what he knows. You won’t find him rapping about cars or money nor will you hear him listening to a lot of rappers that do. He is more impressed by underground hip-hop, neo-soul, electric hop and the blues. Artist such as John Mayer, Jason Mraz, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino, Hopsin, Frank Ocean and Notorious B.I.G are very influential to his craft. He creates music the average person can relate to. Ddot’s dreams of being a rapper began to evolve as he found himself opening for national acts such as, Bone, Thugz N Harmony, Waka Flaka and Murphy Lee. Being on stage and the all eyes on me attention was an instant high and Ddot wanted more. So in 2012 he signed to an Indie label, DunDeal Records Llc. and began working on his soon to be released album, Love, Drugs and Dreams. Ddot will be doing several shows to promote his album and would like to become a producer and ghost writer. As for future goals for himself he plans on winning a Grammy for “best new artist” and hitting #1 on the billboard charts. |
